KOAM-TV aired its first broadcast December 13, 1953. It started with a dream and a corn field. That and a tower and antenna 574 feet tall, 120,000 watts of power, and a signal with a 70 mile radius. (6:07)
Part 2 - 'The building wasn't big enough'

Part 3 - 'Way ahead of the time'
From a grease pen on a Plexiglas map of the United States, to radar and orbital satellite pictures, since its beginning KOAM has been committed to being a national leader in weather forecasting. (4:20)
Part 4 - 'Just remember that thousands of people can see you'
