Casey Nanez is charged with statutory rape and sodomy, accused of having sex with a minor.

Nanez waived his preliminary hearing on Thursday and was bound over for trial.

The McDonald County sheriff revoked his deputy status when Nanez was charged back in June.

More charges have been filed against Casey Nanez.

The McDonald County reserve deputy is charged with stautory rape and statutory sodomy for sexual acts with a teenager.

He is also charged with statutory rape, child molestation and witness tampering.

The 27 year old has been fired from the McDonald County Sheriff's Office.

A former reserve deputy with the McDonald County Sheriff's Office has been charged with two counts of statutory rape, one count of child molestation and one count of witness tampering.

Casey Nanez of Noel, Missouri is accused of having sex with an underage girl.

McDonald County Sheriff Rob Evenson confirmed Nanez had been a reserve deputy with his office. He said they revoked Nanez's commission on June 10.

Sheriff Evenson said that the Cyber Crimes Task Force is helping with the investigation.

He said he could not comment on the investigation any further at this time.

Noel, Missouri marshal confirmed that Nanez was released from duty about two months ago, but could not say why.
