Lamar, Mo. teen pleads guilty to burglaries

Molly Smith, 17, has pled guilty to burglary charges in Lamar, Missouri.  Smith and a 16 year old were accused of breaking into Lamar, Missouri homes in the overnight hours while the residents slept inside.

Smith was given a five year suspended sentence and was placed on probation for five year.

Four homes in Lamar, Missouri are targeted by teenage burglars while the home owners are asleep inside.

Two Missouri teenagers are arrested after police believe they burglarized two homes overnight in Lamar.

Molly Smith, 17, of Lamar, along with another 16 year old are accused of breaking into homes while the residents were asleep inside.

It is believed the teens also attempted to break into two other houses.

They were later arrested for two counts of first degree burglary and possession of stolen property.

A Lamar teen makes an appearance in court, accused of burglarizing homes.

Molly Smith appeared in court Wednesday, pled not guilty to burglary charges and waived arraignment.

She was released into her parents' custody.

Her bond had been set at $100,000.

Another teen is also charged, but as a juvenile.
