The City of Joplin will begin its annual leaf pick up program this Monday, November 29.
Street Department crews will start in the northeast section of town, while Parks Department will begin in the southwest. Both crews will work toward the middle of town.
Residents should rake leaves - not limbs or brush - to the edge of the curb, but not into the street.
Officials expect the pickup to take one month or longer.
Residents can also bring leaves to the Joplin Public Works Center year-round at 1301 West 2nd Street.
