    Super Nacho Dip-submitted by Nancy White  2 lbs. ground beef or turkey, browned1 lb. sausage, browned16-oz. jar salsa1 pkg. taco seasoning1/4 cup butter melted2 lb. Velveeta, cubed10 3/4 oz. can cream of mushroom soup Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.  Cover.  Cook on low 3-4 hours, until ingredients are hot and cheese and soup are melted.  Serve with unsalted chips, tortilla or nacho chips, pita wedges, chopped tomatoes, refried beans, onions and so...More >>

    Sweet Potato Crock Pot Oatmeal

    Sweet Potato Crock Pot Oatmeal1 cup steel cut oats2 cups milk or almond milk1 1/2 cups water1 medium sweet potato, diced (and peeled, if desired)1 tsp cinnamon1/2 tsp allspice1 1/2 tablespoons local honeySea salt to tasteCombine all ingredients except for the honey and salt in the slow cooker, and cook on "low" for 5-6 hours (maximum 7 hours).  Stir well, then serve with drizzle of honey and sea salt to taste.*Makes an ideal overnight crock pot dishMore >>
