Your emotions may run high at the beginning of the week, but that doesn't mean the workplace is the right place for them. Vent to a friend offsite, go for a lunchtime run or find another appropriate outlet. Then from Wednesday through the end of the workweek, you're on point and in control. You can work the situation to your advantage and make everyone feel as though they're getting the long end of the stick, too. If you're working this weekend, recruit some assistance, preferably someone nitpicky about the little things you're liable to miss now.
