Friends and family can remember Teresa and Taylor Kemp at a "Celebration of Life" Sunday at the Riverton Friends Church.

There will be free food and music, and open mic remembrances of the Kemps.

Donations at the event will benefit a scholarship fund in memory of the mother and daughter.

The benefit is hosted by the church, located at 6484 SE 70th Riverton, Kansas, and will be held from 5 to 9 pm on the west side of church grounds.

The dinner features a menu of pulled pork, baked beans, potato salad, desserts and drinks. The benefit dinner is free of charge but donations are accepted.

Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.

Memorial donations can also be made to Teresa and Taylor Kemp Memorial Scholarship Foundation by contacting Riverton Friends Church or Derfelt Funeral Homes.
