A lawsuit filed in March by the animal protection group Humane Society of the U.S. against Petland and the Hunte Corporation has been dropped by an Arizona judge.
In the lawsuit the group opposes all sales of pets through pet stores and other commercial operations.
The animal rights suit alleged that Hunte sold sick puppies to Petland, but the court found that this allegation had no factual basis.
The Hunte Corporation is located in Goodman, Missouri.
