HOLCOMB, Kan. (AP) - There's been a change of leadership in Holcomb.
Lary Cole resigned Wednesday night, citing personal reasons. That means that the current president of the Holcomb City Council, Greg Cox, will serve as mayor until the next election.
Cox announced the change in leadership during the City Council's meeting.
Cole said he had some personal issues to deal with but he declined to elaborate.
Cole was elected to the council in April 2007 and became mayor in September after former mayor Jamie Jarnagin left because he had moved outside of city limits.
