For any parent it is a nightmare, but if the worst case scenario of a child abduction ever becomes a reality some 4-State parents will be ready to fight back.
Over 100 children spent Saturday getting their finger prints and pictures taken along with dental imprints at the Joplin Shrine Club.
That information was then loaded onto a mini-cd computer disk for parents to have in the event their child goes missing.
"I think it is a good idea to have information if the worst was to happen, that way if something did happen to my son I have information ready to give to law enforcement," says parent Amber Ponder.
The event was all part of the Missouri Child Identification and Protection program, known as MO-CHIP.
