A wrongful death lawsuit is filed just two days before the deadline to file in the Anderson Guest House fire that killed eleven people.
Attorney Eryn Petticord filed the lawsuit in McDonald County, Missouri court Wednesday afternoon on behalf of her client, Mary Joyce.
Mary's son, Isaiah Joyce, 25, lived at the Guest House in Anderson when it burned to the ground on November 27, 2006.
This lawsuit is one of many suits filed from this fire.
This lawsuit names a total of 53 defendants, 13 who are named and 40 listed as "John Doe" or "Jane Doe".
One of those named is former Jasper County Public Administrator Rita Hunter, who was guardian over Joyce when he lived at the guest house.
