This lawsuit is one of many suits filed from this fire.

This lawsuit names a total of 53 defendants, 13 who are named and 40 listed as "John Doe" or "Jane Doe".

One of those named is former Jasper County Public Administrator Rita Hunter, who was guardian over Joyce when he lived at the guest house.
