CRAWFORD COUNTY, KAN. - Two vehicles collide head-on, killing one woman and sending another to a hospital.
The crash occurred on Highway 400 in Crawford County, Kansas around 5 o'clock Monday night.
Troopers on the scene say an elderly woman driving west tried to pass a semi.
Her vehicle then hit a Hyundai traveling east head-on.
Troopers say the driver that caused the crash survived and was flown to a hospital.
The driver of the Hyundai, Misty Waun, 30, of Parsons, Kansas, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sharon K. Huddleston and Rhonda L. Pischel of Joplin, Missouri have been arrested and charged in a Sedgwick County, Kansas murder. The Joplin Police Department has been assisting the Park City, Kansas
