PASADENA, CA. - A southeast Kansas mother and daughter who died in a highway crash were honored Friday at the Rose Parade in California.
Photos of Teresa Kemp, 41, and her daughter, Taylor Kemp, 13, were featured on the Donate Life float honoring organ donors.
The Kemps, of Pittsburg, died in July when their car was hit by a car being chased by a Cherokee County sheriff's deputy.
The non-profit Donate Life alliance says 80 people received organ donations from the Kemps.

RIVERTON, KANSAS - A southeast Kansas mother and daughter who died in a highway crash will be honored at the Rose Parade in California on New Year's Day.
A tribute was held in July in Riverton to memorialize Teresa Kemp, 41, and her daughter, Taylor, 13.
Now the mother and daughter will be honored on the Rose Parade Donate Life float recognizing organ donors.
The Kemp's, of Pittsburg, suffered fatal injuries July 16 when their car was hit by a vehicle being chased by a Cherokee County sheriff's deputy.
Teresa Kemp was a teacher and coach at Riverton Middle School, where her daughter was a student.
