Driver has a seizure and drives into a Webb City home

Updated 4:00 PM CST: A woman who saw the accident and called 911 says the driver's daughters were frantic.

"They were running around, not knowing what to do," says Lisa Place.  "They had already called the police, but I wanted to make sure, because things can get really chaotic, so I wanted to make sure someone had called."

Both the home's renter and owner were away at the time of the crash.

Place says her heart goes out to those who are now left with the mess.

"I feel so terrible," says Place.  "This is Christmas and this is horrible to happen to anybody - anybody."

Originally posted December 1, 2010 03:11 PM CST:  Police and bystanders say a driver of a van apparently had a seizure, causing him to crash into a home on Walker Street in Webb City, Missouri, just off of Hall Street.

The driver was taken to Saint John's in an unknown condition.
