
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI Joplin), a non-profit group whose goal is to provide support, advocacy, and education for those with mental illness and their families is now offering several different support groups. Some of the illnesses most commonly dealt with include Bi-Polar Disorder, Depression, PTSD, OCD, Schizophrenia, and ADHD.
CONNECTIONS support group for those affected by mental illness
Every Tuesday, 6:30-8:00PM
FAMILY MEMBER support group
2nd Tuesday each month, 6:30-8:00pm
ADOLESCENT support group
2nd Tuesday each month, 6:30-8:00pm
SELF-INJURY support group
Every other Tuesday, 5:00-6:00pm
DOUBLE TROUBLE DUAL DIAGNOSIS
12 step support for addiction & mental illness
Every Wednesday 6:00-7:00pm
