Body Is Found In McDonald County

McDonald County authorities investigate a body found.

Officials say they received a 911 call this afternoon when someone found a body.

The sheriff's department says the body was found in the rural area of Powell Missouri. A cause of death has not been determined and sheriff Robert Evenson says they are not releasing if the body is that of a man or woman. He says until a cause of death is determine it will be treated as a homicide.
