PSU to Host Pre-Game Hoops Event Friday at Kansas City, Mo.

PITTSBURG — The Pittsburg State University Office of Alumni & Constituents Relations will host a pre-game event Friday (Mar. 4) at Kansas City, Mo., in conjunction with the women's basketball game against Missouri Southern.

The pre-game event will begin at 12 Noon (CST) at The Golden Ox Fan Pavilion located at the Barney Allis Plaza (West 12th Street) next to Municipal Auditorium, where the Gorillas will face the Lions in the first round of the MIAA Postseason Tournament at 2:15 p.m.

The event will be a great opportunity to enjoy food, socializing, give aways, and fun prior to tipoff of the big game.  PSU will have an area reserved in the enclosed pavailion exclusively for alumni and friends.

There is no cost to attend this event.  Food and drinks are available to order off the menu at your expense.

    Oronogo police posted on Facebook that Highway D was flooded and closed by MODOT this morning. And others are warning drivers to be safe. Roads that regularly flood are closed in Neosho as well. A gate blocks passage on Spring Street where a current of water flows across the road..
