PITTSBURG -- Ryan Sorell allowed just four hits in seven shutout innings and the Pitt State offensive produced six runs in a 6-0 victory over Missouri Southern in game one action at Al Ortolani Field Wednesday (Mar. 16).
The two teams will complete the MIAA doubleheader at 5:15 p.m.
Sorell (1-2) allowed no extra-base hits. He walked two and struck out four batters in earning the complete-game win.
Jeremy Graves belted a two-run home run as part of a three-run third inning. Taylor Sibala extended his hitting streak to 17 games with an RBI triple in the fifth. He later scored on Ryan Reddick's two-run single.
