Griffons Sweep Pair From Gorillas Saturday

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- The Pitt State baseball team dropped a doubleheader to Missouri Western Saturday (Apr. 9) at the MWSU Baseball Field.

The Griffons posted 3-2 and 4-0 victories over the Gorillas.

The losses drop Pitt State to 13-17 overall and 9-17 in MIAA play, while Western improves to 17-13 overall and 16-9 in conference action.

The Gorillas will return to action Tuesday (Mar. 12) with an MIAA twinbill at Joplin, Mo., against Missouri Southern. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. (CDT) at Joe Becker Stadium.
