WARRENSBURG, Mo. — The Pitt State men's golf team completed two rounds of action in the Heart of America Invitational in 11th place among 13 competing teams Monday (Apr. 11).
The Gorillas fired rounds of 309 and 306 after 36 holes of competition. Pitt State will complete the 54-hole meet with third-round action Tuesday (Apr. 12) at Keth Memorial Golf Club.
Bren Fisher paced the Gorillas with rounds of 75 and 73, posting a 148 score to finish second-round action tied for 24th place among individuals.
The host school, Central Missouri posted rounds of 284 and 283 to build a 10-stroke lead with a team score of 567 Monday. The Mules "B" team posted a 577 score (290-287) for second place, followed by Lindenwood with a 584 score (287-297).
