
MARYVILLE, Mo. -- The Pitt State baseball dropped a pair of games to NW Missouri State Saturday (Apr. 16) at Bearcat Field.
The Bearcats scored twice in the bottom of the seventh for a 6-5 win in game one before taking an 11-0 victory over the Gorillas in game two.
Jeremy Graves went 2-for-3 with a double and a home run to pace the Gorillas in game one. Brian Dean collected two of Pitt State's four hits in the nightcap.
The losses drop Pitt State to 13-21 overall and 9-21 in MIAA play, while NW Missouri State improve to 14-20 overall and 13-15 in the MIAA.
The two teams will complete their four-game series with a 12 Noon doubleheader Sunday (Apr. 17).
