Fire officials are investigating an early morning mobile home fire in south Joplin.
An early wake-up call for residents in Joplin's Bykota Trailer Park.
Joplin and Reding's Mill crews received the call shortly after 4:30 a.m.
When they arrived the home on East 32nd Street was fully engulfed in flames.
Four adults and four children were able to escape from the home before rescue teams arrived.
No one was injured in the fire.
The home was destroyed and several other nearby homes also suffered damage.
Redings Mill Fire Department Assistant Chief Michael White says fires like these are always difficult.
"They are challenging, fires move through them very quickly, that goes back to the importance of having smoke alarms in these homes, whether it is a mobile home or any type of home," says White.
The state fire marshal is now investigating.
