Good early Wednesday morning everyone. I hope everybody is doing great and is safe out there. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone that has lost homes and family. Also to the ones that are still the people that we haven't located yet. We had another round of severe weather on Tuesday night. Thankfully we didn't have any tornadoes touch down in the 4-state area that I am aware of. However, we still have some showers and thunderstorms out there. Here is the latest interactive radar.

We will see additional scattered showers and thunderstorms again for us today. However, I think the main threat for severe weather will be east of the area. I think for us we could see a few strong storms, but the threat of severe storms is pretty low. Here is a look at the surface precip map for the middle of the day.
You can see the showers and thunderstorms working around our area of low pressure. This will give us scattered showers into the night tonight. However I expect most of them to be out of here by Thursday morning. Our next wave moves in on Friday.
This will give us chances for scattered thunderstorms late Friday and on Saturday as this front sticks around. We will also see a slight severe threat.
Our next system is a stronger system that will move in on Memorial Day and the following Tuesday and Wednesday. However, with the looks of things right now it should rotate just far enough north to just give us scattered thunderstorms. We will have a slight risk of severe thunderstorms, but I think the best chances will stay north of us. This is great news.
Here is a look at your latest 7-day forecast.
I will update the long range forecast later today as things calm down just a bit for me.
