Volunteers needed to staff and sort donated goods at the Northpark Mall donation center. Volunteers needed daily Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm. Report to the donation center site across from Old Navy.

Supplies for victims helped by Calvary Chapel of Joplin
We are running out of some items - need size 5-6 diapers, toilet paper, charcoal, lighter fluid, aluminum foil and other outdoor grilling items.  Bring directly to Calvary Chapel of Joplin - 4899 E. 7th Street.  NOTE: Currently not accepting any clothing donations.

Foundation repair assistance
My house was moved by the tornado had a guy come out and check and said that I couldn't turn it into the insurance, because the floor supports we're never done right and my kids bathroom is sinking now. The total cost of repair is just about $8000. The Liberty Grace Mission is offering help with food, personal hygiene products, and other items to the displaced victims of the tornado that have come to our area. The American Diabetes Association has partnered with the Alliance of SWMO, local doctors from St. Johns and Freeman hospitals, nurses, and pharmaceutical reps to set up a diabetes hub starting Wednesday, May 25th everyday from 10am-3pm. People can come to The Alliance of SWMO located at 2914 E. 32nd Street in Joplin to receive everything from meters, strips, diabetes medication, and glucose tablets.

Mercy for Me is in Joplin June 2 and June 3 passing out disposable cell phones pre-loaded with text and talk minutes.  Stationed at The Oasis, a tent area located at 26th and Main where the old J-Town/Salvation Army was.

Everyday supplies available
Joplin Catholic Charities Response is at McAuley High School (930 Pearl) distributing food, water, baby formula and food, household goods such as cleaning supplies and bedding, hygiene items, clothing for men, women, boys and girls. Labette Health in Parsons is looking to hire, temporarily, displaced workers from St. John's Mercy in Joplin, and other health care facilities that are closed due to the tornado in Joplin, who would like to work until their job with St. John's returns, no matter when that is. Labette Health is looking for I.T. staff, Physicians, Hospitalist, Coders, Nurses, and many other professions in the medical community. A place for Christmas
We would like to offer our Koinania Valley Ranch Family Resort rentals for victim families from Joplin or any other disaster this past year where someone would have lost their home and or loved ones.  We have 4 places we rent out to vacationers but would like to offer them to tornado/flood victim families to come and celebrate Christmas in a beautiful family-home atmosphere, where maybe they would not have that opportunity otherwise.  This is free or by freewill offering. To help replace trees lost in the tornado a Joplin farmer is offering trees he has on his 40 acre farm for free.
