JOPLIN, MISSOURI -
The night of May 22nd, many were left without power. But Freeman Hospital was able to keep the light on with the help of generators.
Freeman says it hopes those lights will be viewed as a Beacon of Hope. In honor of those affected by the storm, including all of the healthcare workers and surrounding hospitals, Freeman shined a single spotlight into the sky.
Freeman says it hopes the beacon will serve as a reminder of the hope that remains in Joplin, today and always.
