Joplin Family Worship Center Gives some Kicks to Medical Workers

Updated:

The Joplin Family Worship Center held a reception this evening for the medical workers of Joplin and handed out free pairs of Crocs.

The Worship Center received over 4,000 pairs of shoes in all sizes for men, women, and children.

Tomorrow they will also be offering Crocs as well as boxes of food, water and toiletries to residents plus a chance to shop in their clothing tent.

The church pastor says the event was held at a perfect time when some items may not be as readily available as they were right before the storm.

"You know after awhile, people forget the hard work that has gone into this, and we just want them to know that we have not forgot about them and we thank them for what they are doing." says Pastor Chuck Ferrell, Organizer.

The Worship Center invites the public to join them at their "Croc N' Roll" free giveaway tomorrow from 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. tomorrow evening.
