Sunday November 13th

Good evening, everyone. Well, we certainly got warmer than I expected us to today. We were  warm to start this morning with lows in the lower 60s and the strong southerly winds helped warm us up to 73 in Joplin this afternoon. We are slowly starting to see clouds build back into the region, but the latest radar has the clouds free of any rain.

Current Radar:

Rain showers are staying well off to our north and to our west, and I expect it to stay that way heading into tonight with southerly winds keeping us in the middle 50s for overnight lows.

A fast moving cold front wants to push through during the afternoon right after lunch time, and if that holds true, we'll hit our high of 68 early before we see temperatures dip back into the upper 50s and lower 60s for your afternoon. However, the front wants to stick around into Tuesday morning and we'll interact with a bit of moisture to produce some rain showers for folks along and south of I-44 in MO and AR. Once the front finally exits, look for some cold air to move in with overnight lows in the 30s and highs in the 50s for the middle of the week.

We do warm up once again heading into next weekend ahead of the next frontal system expected to come into the area. Highs will top out in the middle to upper 60s with better chances for showers and even a few thunderstorms across the Four State Area.
