Chili cheese squares (aired 12/22)

Ingredients

 

  • 8 eggs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
  • 2 cans mild green chilies, drained and chopped

 

Directions

 

  • Beat eggs until light, add flour, baking powder and salt to the eggs.
  • Fold in cheese, cottage cheese and chilies.
  • Bake in a glass dish (9x12) for approximately 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Allow to stand for 10 minutes and cut into bite size pieces, normally 30-40 per pan.
