    Pittsburg State University is cutting 19 positions. PSU officials announced the cuts today (April 26th,2018). They say it's due to stagnant state funding, increasing costs and enrollment pressures. The employees impacted by today's announcement were alerted this week.     A stabbing investigation leads to the arrest of the stabbing victim. On Wednesday morning around 6:30 a.m. (April 25, 2018), Pittsburg police officers were called to Via Christi Hospital for a male that had been stabbed. Police spoke to the victim, 35-year-old Daniel Leroy Hall. Hall told the officers that he was in an altercation with another male and was stabbed in the hand.
