Good Thursday morning everyone. Well training week continues for me as I am working on a new graphics system. Also of course a new and unbelievable radar system that we will have for you for the severe weather season. Koam and I wanted to make sure we had the very best software and radar to serve the area before we go into severe weather season. However, my days have been just killers for me. I am getting up at about 6:30am and training all day long. Then building graphics and doing my regular job and trying to get in bed by 3am, fun, lol. But it will pay off in the long run. I feel like I am about at 65% on the new system right now. I will launch it at 80%. I am hoping that is tomorrow. Then I can slowly learn the last 20% over the next couple of weeks. Hopefully I will be able to push this radar and graphics system to the max by about the beginning of April. With all of that said, my blogs are pretty short this week. And here will be another one. This is kind of a glancing blow of what I expect to happen. Look at the radar below.
We have showers and even snow across the northern plains with our next system. This system will give us the clouds, but keep most of the moisture north of us. We could see a random shower this morning in our northern counties. But a fairly strong cold front will roll through later this morning. Here is a look below.
This front will cool us back down a bit for the weekend. We also could see a little snow passing by just to our north later tonight. But right now I think it will stay just north of the area. Temperatures will start to moderate over the second half of the weekend. Our next system will push in by late Monday and Tuesday. Because this wave is now coming in stronger and a little farther north, it should bring up some warmer air. So it is looking like mainly rain at this point in time. We could possibly see some wintry weather on the backside by Wednesday AM, but I am thinking mainly rain. I will keep you updated. An updated long range forecast is below for you.
