Carthage dentist makes Good Friday a great Friday

Updated:

A dentist from Carthage, Missouri continues his tradition of offering free dental exams on Good Friday.

Doctor William Herrington opened his doors at 8 a.m.

He wanted to help those without dental insurance.

About 49 patients had already visited by noon today.

Dr. Herrington says he wants to walk his faith.

"Acts 1-8, we're commanded to start in our own city first, before we go out, and even though I've done mission work in other foreign countries, it's important to also do mission work right here in Carthage," says Dr. Herrington.
