
HAYS, Kan. — The Fort Hays State baseball team posted 25-5 and 5-4 victories over Pitt State to complete a four-game sweep by the Tigers over the Gorillas Saturday (Apr. 7).
The losses dropped Pitt State to 11-18 overall and 9-13 in MIAA action as the Gorillas have lost 10 of their last 11 contests. FHSU improved to 15-15 overall and 13-12 in the MIAA with the wins.
The Gorillas will return to action Tuesday (Apr. 10) when they host Missouri Southern in an MIAA twinbill at 3 p.m. (CDT) at Al Ortolani Field.
