Ryan Bilovesky doubled to lead off the inning. Austin Lastimado then beat out a bunt single, before Adam Reed delivered a run-scoring hit. Luke Bordewick advanced the runners with a bunt and Evan Thomas plated Lastimado with the go-ahead run on a sacrifice fly.

Matt Stalcup (5-5), who surrendered Bacone's lone run in the sixth inning, got the final three outs to pick up the win. Jake Stevenson tossed five shutout innings for the Gorillas.
