Nominate 'Volunteer Joplin' for 2012 Presidential Citizens Medal

You have until 11 PM CST tonight to nominate Joplin tornado volunteers for the 2012 Presidential Citizens Medal.

The Presidential Citizens Medal recognizes Americans who have gone above and beyond for the service of their county or fellow citizens.

Organizers of the "Volunteer Joplin" nomination hope for your vote to help recognize the crucial role the 125,000 plus volunteers have played in the recovery of Joplin.

To nominate "Volunteer Joplin" visit http://www.whitehouse.gov/citizensmedal/submit-a-nomination/ and complete the nomination format. For the Nominee's Name field, type "Volunteer Joplin", and under the age field, put "50" (to cover those from age 8-80 who volunteered).
