Lady 'Riders Advance to National Tournament with District Win

NEOSHO, Mo. – The Crowder College Lady ‘Riders Softball team earned a berth in the 2012 National Tournament by defeating Iowa Western in District play today.

The Lady ‘Riders won game the first two games in the best of three series by scores of 4-3 and 8-5 (9 innings). 

Game two was back and forth as the Lady ‘Riders traded runs with the Iowa Western Reivers. The Lady ‘Riders now advance to the National Tournament in St. George, UT, May 17-19.  The Lady ‘Riders last appearance in the National Tournament was in 2007.
