Coffeyville oil refinery has new owner

Billionaire business magnate Carl Icahn is the new owner of the company which owns refineries in Coffeyville, Kansas and Wynnewood, Oklahoma.

Icahn announced today he has purchased stock that gives him 63% ownership of CVR Energy, based in Sugar Land, Texas.

The Coffeyville plant employs hundreds of people and refines 115,000 barrels of oil per day.
