Historic preservation nominates two southwest Missouri buildings

The Missouri Advisory Council on Historic Preservation will meet soon to discuss nominated buildings for the National Register of Historic Places.

Two nominations in our area include the Joplin Furniture Company building on Main Street and the Cave Spring School and Cemetery in Sarcoxie.

Approved nominations are forwarded to the National Register in Washington D.C. for final approval.
