Catholic Charities is offering a free marriage workshop for those looking to strengthen their relationships.
Marriage For Keeps originally started five years ago in Wichita, Kansas and with its success and ability to always have a full waiting list, Catholic Charities decided to bring it to Pittsburg.
The course is six weeks long and will offer advice for singles, engaged and married couples.
Officials say the course will advise couples on what keeps a relationship strong.
"The main thing is communication, for people to be able to talk to each other without screaming and yelling, just to communicate, get those things out there," says family support specialist Kelly Pulliam. "If they've got a problem, talk about it, don't hide it. Don't keep it in the background to hide from it. Face it."
