Seneca 9 year old on bike bumped by car; no known injuries

A nine year old was hit while riding her bike to school this morning in Seneca, Missouri.

According to the Seneca Police Department the incident occurred just outside the school zone when the car hit the back of the students bike, knocking her off.

Police say the student did not appear to be injured but was taken to the hospital by her parents as a precaution.

Seneca students have just a half day on Monday before summer break.
