May 22 in one word - behind the scenes with the KOAM & Fox 14 staff

Over the past year we've shown you stories about businesses rebuilding, families finding new homes and the heroes from the May 22 storm.

We have rarely touched on how the tornado effected KOAM and Fox 14 staff.

Seven of our employees lost everything.  One was seriously injured.  Many more were tied to it directly.  All of us have been surrounded by it every day, even those who do not live in the Joplin area.

Covering the May 22nd tornado and its aftermath has not been an easy task.

For the last few months reporter Lindsey Henry has been working on a special project telling our side of the story - "One Word".  You can watch that video above.
