Foul play not suspected in death of Joplin three month old

Authorities say foul play is not suspected in the death of a Joplin three month old boy.

An autopsy conducted in Columbia shows Isley C. Washington died from positional asphyxia.

Early Thursday evening Joplin police were called to the death of the infant at the Northpark Apartments off Newman Road between Range Line and Missouri Southern.

They say while there appears to be no foul play they will continue to follow-up on the investigation.
