The ASPCA and the Joplin Humane Society teamed up today to host a low-cost spay, neuter and vaccine clinic for cats and dogs of low-income owners in the Joplin area.
Owners must have made an appointment in advance and the clinic is first-come, first-serve from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
"We have gotten a really good response, we have a waiting list of 100 people or so on it so it has been good," says Marta Arroyo of the ASPCA.
