Repairs made in northern Jasper County power outage

Earlier today more than 3,000 Empire Electric customers were without power, with no electricity to cool their homes.

The power outage occurred in Webb City, Oronogo and east of the Joplin airport.

Empire officials say there was a problem with a breaker in northern Webb City.

Crews worked for several hours to fix the situation.  Repairs are complete.
