"I have installed about 99% of this equipment and the support systems, so I have a lot of ownership here and if we can't continue to operate, it's like losing a family member" says Franks.

The company has been producing gas can's in Miami Oklahoma for the last 46 years.

Director of Risk Management Miriam George says she will also miss working for the company, but do to many law suits Blitz USA has entered into bankruptcy and staying open any longer than July, is just not an option.

"The company has been sued many times as a matter of fact right before we filed for bankruptcy we had 42 open saw suits" says George.

For franks, he says he still has hope that the company will continue to operate. Gas can or not.

"Well I would hope that some company or some investors would buy us and continue to build some sort of container, whether it's a fuel container or something else" says Franks.
