A routine traffic stop leads to a police chase yesterday in Jasper County.

Authorities say the vehicle sped away, running through several yards causing property damage and eventually coming to a rolling stop in a ditch.

Police say they found narcotics, a gun and a meth lab in the car.

Police arrested the driver, Brian McCumber, and a passenger, Ashley Crane.  Both are charged with manufacturing a controlled substance.

McCumber is also charged as a felon in possession of a firearm, resisting arrest and property damage.
