Tourism organizations hold annual meeting in Miami, Okla

Updated:

Green Country Marketing Association, one of Oklahoma's multi-county non-profit tourism organizations, held its annual membership meeting today at the Coleman Theatre in Miami.

The meeting focused on the election of new officers and board members as well as highlight the organization's accomplishments over the past year.

"We will manage approximately 50 marketing campaigns with our members and we will also produce five travel publications in an attempt to bring more people into our region," says Green Country Marketing Executive Director Jackie Stewart.

"We just spend time advertising and trying to get the word out that this is a great place to come," says Stephan Guy, the Executive Director for Osage County Tourism.  "We have three world class attractions within our county with Gill Crease, Tall Grass Prairie, and the Woolaroc Museum that bring people in from all over the world."
