Joplin Police investigating possible abuse of an 18 month old - KOAM TV 7

An 18 month old taken first to a Joplin hospital with possible head injuries is in stable condition at a Springfield hospital.

On the evening of Thursday June 22 after a call to the Child Abuse Hotline Joplin police were sent to a home in the 3600 block of North Saint Louis.

No charges have been filed and no one is in custody at this time because investigators are still looking into the case.
