Car fire temporarily detours traffic just south of Pittsburg

A mechanical issue with a vehicle caused traffic on Highway 69 to be detoured just south of Pittsburg for a short time late this afternoon.

Kansas Highway Patrol says a car was on fire on the side of the road on 69 just south of Centennial Street.

There were no injuries and traffic is no longer being rerouted.
