Some baseball history tours the Four States before MLB All Star auction

Updated:

A bit of baseball history is touring the Four State area.  We got a sneak peak in Joplin today at some of the historic items that will be auctioned off as part of the MLB All Star game festivities in Kansas City next month.

Items in the auction include a baseball signed by Babe Ruth and George Brett baseball bats and jerseys.

Hunt Auctions are also promoting an opportunity for fans to have their own memorabilia appraised.

"We will be set up with our live auction and appraisal fair as part of FanFest in the days leading up to the All Star game," says Director of Consignments Jeremy Kraft.  "People are welcome to come down, bring whatever they might like, we will be happy to take a look, let you know what it is and what it's worth."

Appraisal Fair at MLB All Star FanFest will take place July 6th through the 10th at the Kansas City Convention Center.

The two Babe Ruth signed baseballs are valued at $20,000 to $30,000 each.
