Siren mistakenly activated at Coffeyville refinery

Statement from Coffeyville Resources

At approximately 12 p.m. today, the Coffeyville Resources community broadcast siren system in Coffeyville was mistakenly activated during an upgrade of the company's radio communications systems. Coffeyville Resources responded within a few minutes by issuing an "All Clear" message to the surrounding community through its broadcast sirens. The company apologizes for the error.
